Saint Leo University’s governing board is a group of volunteers who exemplify the university’s six core values. After graduating from Saint Leo College, John View ’72 went on to earn his master’s degree in educational administration and leadership from Notre Dame. He is the director of Educational Opportunity Program/Financial Aid Compliance at the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY ESF). For more than 35 years, he has served on numerous state, regional, and national financial aid professional boards and is considered a leader in the field. He also serves SUNY ESF as the men’s and women’s cross country/track and field head coach. He was named USCAA 2014 Coach of the Year. He has two grown children and a granddaughter. He and his wife, Lorraine Schunck, live in Jamesville, NY.
