Motivated by the water crisis in Flint, MI, the Gainesville (FL) Education Center community worked together to collect and ship bottled water to the residents of that northern city (left). “None of this could have been possible without the inspiration of one student and the generosity of so many individuals and organizations,” said Bif Sheffield, assistant director of the center. “This was truly an exceptional example of Saint Leo University’s core values.”
