In early November the Center for Catholic-Jewish Studies was pleased to host Rabbi Abraham Skorka, a friend of Pope Francis who is committed to bridging the gulf between faiths. He spoke at University Campus and was honored in Sarasota at Temple Emanu-El, where he received the Eternal Light Award (shown above with President Lennox and Dr. Matthew Tapie, director of the Center for Catholic-Jewish Studies).
