Saint Leo community helps those in need On October 27, Saint Leo’s University Campus, education centers, and online community united in Saint Leo Serves in observance of National Make a Difference Day. At University Campus, volunteers helped Feeding Children Everywhere, Saint Leo’s Paws of Love nonprofit organization, Meals on Wheels, and the university’s own Peaceful Reflections Garden. Off-campus volunteers assisted Pasco County Animal Services; Habitat for Humanity in Dade City; the Pioneer Florida Museum in Dade City; and Holy Name Monastery in St. Leo. The Virginia peninsula centers served at Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore in Newport News. The Ronald McDonald House Charities benefited from the activities of the Corpus Christi Education Center in Texas, and the San Diego Education Center volunteers participated in Oktoberfest Cleanup with I Love A Clean San Diego.

The Saint Leo University Brand Marketing & Communications Office provides internal and external communications, as well as media outreach, for the university. The staff covers stories about alumni, university programs, student initiatives, and community projects.
